Random Flourishings

Standard

I was just wandering around today and suddenly – I know, cliché – I had this poem forming in my head:

A MIDNIGHT PANTOUM

I came upon a sky so clear,
The moon should shine so sweet
Like honey’d milk from a fairy’s lair,
As night descends in sleep.

The moon should shine so sweet
In dreams of ethereal grace,
As night descends in sleep
Upon starlight’s ice’d embrace.

About shannlien

While the springtime blossoms bloom, I like to work on my seemingly never-ending story, read about fantastical other worlds, or paint the world right in front of my eyes. And dancing through the trees in park with my dearly friends. (In other words, Hello!)
